We take birthdays seriously! Each child gets a celebration for their big day, which includes their favorite meal, a couple small gifts, and a few personally invited friends from the other houses. One of the highlights is always when the child selects a staff member to pray just for them on their birthday.

This is an important opportunity for us to make sure each child knows that they are loved. It takes $65 total to provide for the festivities. This has increased due to increasing costs in the Philippines and also because we are offering our teenagers the option of doing an off-site birthday outing with a few friends. These tend to be slightly higher cost, but it offers an extra dose of independence for these older residents.
