In the Philippines, school uniforms are the norm. In fact, even some colleges require them of their students. At CSC's Children of Hope School, uniforms are a part of the routine as well. Our teachers wouldn't feel like they were at school if the staff and children didn't have uniforms on! Each day the students wear the same color uniform: a simple t-shirt with black shorts. We see a lot of value in this. The uniforms are a simple way of showing the school day is here, and it's time for the kids to get to work on the important job of learning.
